Information you provide
The project enquiry form asks for your name, email address and message. You can also provide an estimated budget and timeline. We use this information to read, assess and respond to your enquiry. Required fields are marked in the form; the budget and timeline are optional. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.
Enquiries through the website
Submitted enquiries are saved in the website’s administration system so they can be handled and followed up. Email correspondence may contain further details you choose to share with us.
Purpose and legal basis
We process enquiries and business contact details based on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and discussing potential projects (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). When you contact us to enter into a contract personally, processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering into that contract is based on Article 6(1)(b). Our interest in protecting the website and preventing spam is the basis for the form’s security checks. Optional cookies that require consent rely on your consent.
How long we keep information
Our retention period for enquiries that do not result in an assignment is 12 months after the most recent contact. If an enquiry becomes an assignment, information needed for the customer relationship is retained for that purpose instead. Information that must be kept to meet a legal obligation, such as accounting records, is retained for the applicable statutory period. Information needed for a specific legal claim may be retained for as long as that claim requires.
Service providers
We use Oderland for website hosting and Microsoft 365 for email. These providers process information as needed to supply their services. Enquiries are stored in the website’s administration system; correspondence by email is handled in Microsoft 365. Our own QookieQloud service provides the cookie panel and the data request function.
The location of processing and any access from outside the EU/EEA depend on the services and settings used. For information about the arrangements that apply to your information, contact hello@qodli.se.
Email validation and spam protection
When you enter an email address in the contact form, it is sent to our server for validation before you submit the enquiry. We check the address format, known temporary email domains and whether the domain has mail servers. The DNS lookup uses the domain, not your full email address. This does not confirm that an individual mailbox exists.
The form also uses our human check to reduce automated submissions. It processes the selected symbol, interaction duration, number of interaction events and browser signals that indicate automation. A successful check produces a session-bound verification that is valid for up to 30 minutes and is consumed when the form is submitted. Failed security checks may be logged with your IP address and technical details. If you cannot use the check, email us at hello@qodli.se.
Cookies and your choices
The website uses session cookies for functions such as form security. If you select a language, the qodli_language cookie remembers your choice for up to one year. Without a saved choice, the homepage uses your browser’s language preference to select Swedish or English.
QookieQloud provides the website’s cookie panel. Open Cookie settings to see the cookie information and manage your choices. You can return to the panel through the footer at any time and change or withdraw consent for optional cookies. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place based on your consent.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal data, object to processing, or request data portability. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You can easily make a request via DSR / Data request in the cookie banner.
